John Lyall

the great man spoke with enormous passion & eloquence at winchester college of art on wednesday 12th may. his presentation though was poorly attended. he particularly emphasised the fact that architects must be able to draw by hand using a pencil.  the projects of the practice are quite varied and with just sixteen people it is certainly hitting its stride. the practice has been in existence for 19 years formed when he broke up with will alsop. john is now 60 years of age and yet still seems to relish the frequent run ins he has with the planners.
