The commissioning editor at RIBA Publishing James Thompson has sent me a very nice letter with regard to the chapter on business development that I have penned for inclusion in the RIBA ‘Good Practice Guide to Marketing’ to be published in December. Helen Elias the erstwhile  editor of the book asked a number of us working in the built environment sector to contribute. It took forever to produce a draft and then Helen transformed it into something readable. Anyway, I have already made the decision that I will not be attending the book signing, presumably at a smart London restaurant, but I would value some feedback in due course. I will produce a direct link to the RIBA on-line bookshop in three or more months time.
